I’ll take you through my refrigerator, farmers’ markets, grocery stores and cookbooks.  And I’ll show you how to have fun in the kitchen with my new YouTube channel. More on that soon! But let me tell you why I’ve launched this blog. I love to cook. And I love to talk about what I cook and how I do it. I always have. So much so that I actually launched and operated a one-of-a-kind specialty food business called The Meatloaf Bakery after many years as a marketing communications professional.  I took my love of recipe creation and built a business around meatloaf! Yes, meatloaf — but not your ordinary “I hate my mom’s meatloaf”, but creative and delicious variations using different meats, fish, vegetables, herbs and spices.  And I dispelled the notion that meatloaf is unattractive by creating the original meatloaf cupcake. After seven years in retail, catering and food-trucking, I closed the business to focus exclusively on mail order via Meatloaf By Mail. People ask me all the time if I just make meatloaf.  And while I did for several years, I so enjoy making other things like pastas, soups, roasts, salads and stovetop creations directly from my imagination. That’s why it makes perfect sense to not only keep cooking, but to write about it. And I can’t wait to show you what goes on in my kitchen after we launch our YouTube channel.
